First Things First

Protect and Prepare

PHASE 1

Institution based programs, these programs are designed to prepare offenders to reentry society. Services provided in the phase will include; education, mental and behavioral health, mentoring, job training, substance abuse treatment, full diagnostic and risk assessment.

Control and Restore

PHASE 2

Community based transition programs. These programs will work with offenders prior to and immediately following their release from correctional institutions. Services provided in this phase will include: appropriate education, mentoring, monitoring, life skills development, behavioral and mental health and substance abuse treatment.

Sustain and Support

PHASE 3

Community based long term support programs. These programs will connect individuals who have left the supervision of the justice system with a network of social services agencies and community based organizations to provide ongoing services and mentoring relationships.
